There has always been a strong connection between music and reading, studies show that both activities help develop a stronger, more agile brain. Music helps build reading skills. “Both activities involve rhythm, structure, and interpretation, training the brain for language acquisition. Music, reading and language both rely on recognizing patterns, making musical training beneficial for understanding text structure. But beyond that, there is the sheer enjoyment of listening and reading as well as the pleasure of expanding one’s horizons with endless new possibilities of imagination. Not to mention, sharing these experiences with family and friends.
