With music by Bernstein, Prokofieff, and Wagner, a performace of Morton Gould's "Pavanne" to celebrate the 100th anniversary his birth, the introduction of a new, young Long Island "composing star," Michael T. DeFilippisis, marches by Sousa and his march-writing "rival," R.B. Hall, as well as Broadway Show-Stoppers, the first concert in this two-concert series promises to be a great afternoon for the entire family.
